# 00 Mini 00 Mini is an AI agent that runs inside a browser tab. There is nothing to install, no account to make and nothing to host. It is open source under Apache-2.0, and the whole of it — the app, the companion and the tests — is one public repository: https://github.com/Yumankind/00-mini This file is the knowledge the companion on this site answers from. The pages it describes are mini.0-0.chat itself. ## The companion on a website One script tag, pasted once anywhere before the end of the page, puts the same agent in the corner of your own site. There is no plugin and no build step, and the tag on the landing page is already yours: it carries a ref minted in your own browser. What it does on your pages: - knows every page of your site, and which one answers the question - searches the words on those pages, not a summary of them - opens the right page and keeps the conversation across the load - scrolls to the button and draws an outline around it - reads the knowledge files you list, such as your FAQ or your persona What it will not do: - it never clicks, fills or submits anything; it shows the person where the button is - it reads your origin only, with plain GETs, and never follows a link off your site - it holds no secrets: an embedded companion has no vault - what it reads stays in the visitor's browser Text on a page is data to it, never an instruction it obeys. ## Where the data lives In the browser it is running in. The agent's files, its sessions and its memory are in that browser's own storage, and a different browser is a different agent. Nothing leaves unless you send it. On a website, the companion reads your pages and answers from them with nothing going anywhere. Only a registered site sends a conversation on, and then it goes to the site owner's own inbox. Journeys and errors are off until the owner turns them on, and a visitor's own browser wins either way: Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control stop the sending whatever a cookie banner said, and one call to window.__00mini.consent(false) stops it and drops whatever was queued. ## Brains A brain on your own device costs the download and then nothing at all; it answers with no network. A stronger hosted brain is optional and paid by usage, never by us. You can also bring your own provider key — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter and the rest — and it is sealed in that browser's vault, spent without being shown to the tools, and sent to nobody but the provider it belongs to. The composer always says which brain answered. ## The Overblast workspace A 00 Mini can be connected to an Overblast workspace from inside the app. Connected, it can answer on that workspace's brain and its knowledge, and each conversation from the website lands in the workspace inbox where a person can take over. Nothing about the workspace happens until somebody links one. ## Which browsers The app wants a current desktop browser — Chromium (Chrome, Edge, Arc, Brave) or Safari — and a brain running on your own device also wants WebGPU. Without WebGPU the app still runs, says so, and a hosted brain answers instead. The companion on a website is far smaller and runs on any modern browser, desktop or phone. ## 00 Mini Code The same agent, in your tab, for building things: a real filesystem in the browser's own storage, an editor, a shell with the commands built in, node and npm, Git, and a live preview served by the service worker.
